no iphone? no soup for you!
To add to Tara’s post…iphone apps now can have friends, that is the gist of Facebook Connect that was announced today.
Seems cool, but in a room full of iphone users, woot wooting and clapping, I couldn’t help but to feel a little inadequate. My phone has no friends. Actually I like my phone, so my phone has one friend. I think I just decided what to do with my tax return.

There was a talk today by a guy named Paul Annett who works with Clearleft (aka Elf Cartel -the elf name was an experiment in creating an anagram out of the company’s letters and it stuck, so much so I wrote it down in my notes as his company)
His talk focused on the clever examples of designs which have not just engaged, but also delighted users.
